The Volcano Park team has reserved Mondays exclusively for senior citizen groups. In a quiet and cosy atmosphere the Volcano Park dedicates Mondays to the older generation.

A program especially suited for the older generation has been created. The Volcano Park Information Centre at Rauschermühle is especially suited for senior citizens as it is equipped with a lift, two film rooms, seating is available in the exhibition areas and further seating is provided in a large conference room.

The films shown and the informative tour with our trained Volcano Park guides offer 2 – 3 hours of entertainment. The Volcano Park guides impart their knowledge about Volcanoes, Eifel volcanism and the life of the local people over the last 7000 years in an interesting and understandable manner.

After an informative tour of the house you can enjoy coffee, tea and cake in the attic. Here you have the opportunity to discuss your newfound knowledge with the Volcano Park guide or meet new friends amongst the other visitors.

A visit, for example to the company Griesson – de Beukelaer in Polch, rounds off a pleasant and interesting afternoon program.

Planned dates: every first Monday in the month, 15:00. The senior citizen afternoon costs €14.00 per person. For these events you need to reserve in advance.

By the way: The Volcano Park is a part of the National Geopark Vulkanland Eifel and has been awarded the "Service Quality" seal from the federal state of Rheinland Pfalz.
