Andernachs museum displays historical products made from basalt lava and tuff. The goods were loaded and shipped out from Andernach harbour. The ancient East Eifel stone trade shipped its goods of basalt lava and tuff as far as Great Britain. A model of the Roman harbour provides a good impression of the brisk activity in the harbour and on the Rhine in those times.
